As a kid, I never was into puzzle games, mostly because my young brain wasn’t patient enough to handle the complexity of the puzzles even if it’s a simple puzzle game. One day hanging out a relative’s house, I saw one of my cousins playing something that seemed like a puzzle game but there was one difference – there were cartoon versions of my favorite fighting game, Street Fighter. Watching these known characters battle while doing a Tetris-like puzzle was mind-blowing for a 7 or 8-year-old to comprehend. Though I never liked puzzle games, the fighting was a distraction. This game was the first game that made me thought that two games can work amazingly well as a single game. That was 15 years ago, now its 2017 and Capcom is releasing a new Puzzle Fighter game on iOS and Android later this year. Capcom released two trailers showing some of the characters in action.
