Destiny 2 Always Gives Us Something to Do Every Week Destiny 2 Always Gives Us Something to Do Every Week

If you’re like me and many others, your running out of stuff to do in Destiny 2 – outside of the weekly activities. Worry not, next week we will see Lord Saladin and the return of the Iron Banner and more. Last week, we saw the introduction of Faction Rallies.

This was a fun, cool way to get players logging in every day. Though it was a neat idea putting other players against each other – outside of PvP, it didn’t feel like that, it felt like just another currency to hand in to an NPC.

Who will you pledge to?

For those who don’t know about the Faction Rally it’s an event where you pledge to a faction; Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, or Future War Cult. Every activity will earn you tokens associated with the faction, in doing so will grant you gear and weapons from the faction. The neat part is at the end of the week a winning faction is announced and will grant everyone a unique weapon. For the players who pledge to Dead Orbit (current winners) you get a scout rifle for 1000 glimmer (currency), as for who didn’t you can grab it for 50000 glimmer.

Lord Saladin is back with The Iron Banner

Yesterday, Bungie announced the return of the Iron Banner and the release of the prestige mode raid, all of which will drop on Tuesday, October 10th (weekly reset). The Iron Banner is a PvP event that comes every month and is active for a week. This event is huge because of the lore behind the Iron Banner and how small lore bits are revealed during the event. It also holds one of the best and cool looking gears in the game.

Amazing Iron Banner Gear

To start the Iron Banner, look for Lord Saladin in the tower. Once that’s done your free to do any PvP content to gain tokens to hand in to Lord Saladin. Winning will grant you more tokens and losing will give you less. The Iron Banner is starting on October 10th 2AM PST and ends on October 17th 2AM PST.

Lastly, the hardcore audience can finally get a taste of the prestige Leviathan raid. There’s not much information about the prestige mode, but there are minimal changes to mechanics. Like the Prestige Nightfall, the Prestige raid is a recommended power level of 300. Let’s do this again…

Ever since launch Bungie has been slowly but surely rolling out content. This is great, it gives everyone a chance to catch-up before heading to the next new shiny thing. Though the hardcore audience is running out of things to do, having something to do every week whether that be Faction Rallies, Iron Banner, or Weekly activities will bring someone back. Someone like minded as me.

Fortnite: Battle Royale: Season 4 Just Made Some Crazy Changes and I in Love with it

Fortnite has become this huge juggernaut in the gaming industry ever since Epic released their Battle Royale mode in late September. The Battle Pass implementation gave the player a progression system that gamify the Battle Royale mode, of which PUBG does not have. Having something to accomplish in-between gathering and fighting during each match creates a sense of accomplishment. In a game where there is a 100-player free-for-all fight, your chances of winning are low, allowing the Battle Pass rewards gives the player this satisfaction of accomplishment even if you lose. Over the past month, Epic has been teasing and creating ARGs in-game for the lead up to Season 4. Hearing about the meteors crashing down on Tilted Towers was cool but I didn’t think anything of it, as I thought it to be a cosmetic choice. But after seeing the video where Titled Towers got hit with small meteors during a match made me believe that the rumored Superhero themed Season Pass might be true. Long a
