Graceful Explosion Machine Is the Perfect Game for The Switch

The Nintendo has proven repeatedly that they can succeed with a less powerful console. But even with their amazing games, Nintendo can’t support the Switch themselves – they’ve learned that with the Wii U (RIP). At this point in time Nintendo doesn’t have the same 3 rd party support as the Wii U, but they have an abundance of Indie developer support that will trickle throughout the year to fill the gaps in between big 1 st party releases. The first game that caught my eye was Graceful Explosion Machine. Graceful Explosion Machine is a 2D colorful, frantic, twin-stick arcade shooter by the makers of We Are Doomed , Vertex Pop. We Are Doomed is like Graceful Explosion Machine in many ways, it’s a vibrant, hectic, twin-stick shooter, the only difference is with We Are Doomed it’s from the top-down perspective as oppose to the side-scrolling perspective on Graceful Explosion Machine . Once you see how similar the games are, you see why Graceful Explosion Machine is well flesh

Overwatch Just Released Its April Update with New Skins, Poses, and a New PvE Mode

Yesterday, Blizzard released their April updating, “The Uprising”. This update has new skins, poses, sprays, and emotes, just like most of Overwatch’s pervious events. Also in the update is a new PvE mode, this is the second PvE mode that was introduced to the game – first was the Halloween event’s “Junkenstein’s Revenge”. Unlike Junkenstein’s Revenge, Uprisings new mode shares a lot of similarities of the regular competitive modes. The uprising is focused on the narrative of the game – the good vs the bad. Being so, the new skins represents the Overwatch team as a unit – each have unique armor but the same color scheme. As for the Talon group (Bad guys) they all have very diverse skins, which makes the Talon group feel less like a unit/team. The biggest addition to the “Uprising” event is the new PvE mode. The game starts with an introduction video that introduces the premise of the mode. The King’s Row area was setup to build new homes for the humanoid robots (Omni

Everything About Persona 5 is Bleeding with Style

The Persona series has capitative the JRPG fans with a mix of a deep battle system and a robust life-simulation that all ties together. This has been the staple of every Persona game, but one thing that Persona always does amazingly well is the aesthetic style with every iteration, especially with Persona 5 . Everything from the character models to the menus has a pleasingly well designed style. The 5th iteration of Persona has made me realize that aesthetic and style can go a long way for a 100-hour long videogame. One of the first things I notice when I watched the first gameplay trailer was how the menus open during battle situations. The way the UI is laid-out and the colors associated with it makes the repetitive nature of this game feels more enjoyable and less repetitive, this is not the case of most JRPGs. I don’t mind going into the battles because I know that the art and music is great. The character models are the first thing you get introduced to. Your ch

Atlus’s Restriction to Streaming Persona 5 isn’t Sitting Well with Streamers and YouTubers

Yesterday was the western release of the long-awaited Persona 5 , while Japan audience had an early release back in September. On release day, Atlus USA posted a note to streamers on their website, asking everyone to refrain from spoiling the game and avoid posting plot-heavy videos. Both the western and Japan releases had these streaming restriction. The full statement can be found on Atlus ’s website. Atlus says,” This being a Japanese title with a single-playthrough story means our masters in Japan are very warry about it.” Because of this the PS4 built-in streaming system is locked out of Persona 5. That doesn’t mean you can stream, just be careful of what you do stream. If you do decide to stream STOP AT 7/7 (this is referring to the date in the game) anyone who doesn’t do so is at the risk of being issued a content ID claim or worse, a channel strike/account suspension. Atlus then ends it by saying,” Persona 5 is a super special case for us and we’re in ongoing discussi
