The Nintendo Switch Launch Games are Getting Bigger

When the Switch was show-cased at Nintendo’s Switch event, there wasn’t a lot to get excited about. Only after showing off the hardware did the hype levels rise. Games like Arms, Splatoon 2, and of course The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are what salvaged the showcase. We hoped that the launch line up would be comparable to Nintendo’s other hardware launch games, I guess we were wrong. By the end of the showcase, the full launch line up will be only consisted of five games, that is rare now a days. With any hardware manufacturer, you want as much players to buy your hardware. With the launch games, I can’t see many players buy it day one. At least we have The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Now that it’s been about two weeks since the event and only five weeks until launch, which means there is time for Nintendo communicate unanswered questions. What I didn’t expect was they are still adding games to the launch line-up, although some of them are just ports.

The Nintendo Switch Looked Cool, but the Games Stole the Show

Yesterday Nintendo came out and presented the features of the Nintendo Switch. There were many rumors around the Switch – like how the docking works? What are Joy-Cons and how does it work? Now that everything is out, surprisingly a lot of it were correct. As we all know, the Nintendo Switch is a hybrid home console with a 6.2-inch, 720p display, where you can play on the big screen or on the go. Using a new form of controllers called, “Joy-Cons”. These controllers are removable from the console to be held on each hand, or you can turn it side-ways to play multiplayer. This was everything that was presented in the reveal trailer. Let’s Get into It! Battery One of the main concern was about how long the switch will last while in handheld mode? Well, it depends on the games played. The battery life is between 2.5 - 6 hours, Nintendo states that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can be played for about 3 hours in handheld mode. That’s not much if you’re out with it during

Time Off During the Holiday Break Means More Videogames

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and an even better start to 2017, but a break means more time to play videogames. I played a lot of different games over the break, some multiplayer with friends, and other games that I had on my backlog. It was a great break for me spending time with family and friends, and showing them some games that they might enjoy. One of the games I played with my friends was Injustice (I’m excited for the injustice 2 in May) this was a game that I haven’t played since I got it from PlayStation plus about 2 years ago, this game resonated with all my friends. Why wouldn’t you like Superman fighting Green Arrow? After play hours of it I remembered how much fun fighting games can be. It brings out my competitive side, which in any game, will keep driving me to come back. Another game I’ve played with family and friends was Jackbox Party Pack, this is an awesome game with a great idea. This game allows the players to use their phon
